Most of our bowls are made from native Alaskan trees that we have scavenged from the forest floor. Occasionally, friends and foes bring gifts of found burls from lakes or worksites or interesting pieces of wood from afar. We also find diamond willow around where we co-habitate, which makes for excellent walking sticks.
We do not cut down or damage healthy live trees. We are tree-huggers that way. We find plenty of burls on the ground that can be used to make wonderful pieces of art. My bowls are all intended as works of art. I spend hours creating each bowl and hope you enjoy them as much as I do making them.
